"A fossil is any preserved remains, impression, or trace of any once-living thing from a past geological age. Examples include bones, shells, exoskeletons, stone imprints of animals or microbes, hair, petrified wood, oil, coal, and DNA remnants. The totality of fossils is known as the fossil record."

This blog has 71 posts about fossils at fossils.

Fossils are not the strongest evidences for evolution but they are aways interesting because they help paleontologists understand how species evolved.

For example we know from the fossil record our ancient ape ancestors evolved to be able to walk upright before they evolved to have a larger brain.

"Paleontologists examine the fossil record to understand the process of evolution and the way particular species have evolved."

Know-nothing evolution deniers repeatedly say there are no fossils that show evolution is true. That's bullshit. In any case we don't need any fossils to know evolution is true because there is much stronger evidences from embryology, DNA sequencing, ERVs, and numerous other branches of science. But these fucktards for Jeebus say supernatural magic explains how the world works.

Science or magic. Take your pick.
