A comment I wrote at an article called "The Decline—and Fall?—of Religious Freedom in America"

Of course freedom of religion is a good thing. I would just like to point out that religion is ridiculous nonsense that does not belong in the 21st century. Religious people are religious because they're cowards. They are so afraid of reality that they are willing to believe any childish fantasy that makes reality go away. Religions have made America a laughing stock. But sure, if people want to live in the Dark Ages they are free to do that as long as they keep their insane fantasies out of our governments and public schools.
