More than 90 people killed in Myanmar protests as military marked Armed Forces Day, media reports

Deadly clashes flared around the country in what appeared to be the bloodiest day since a military coup last month. The online news site Myanmar Now reported at least 91 people were killed on the day Myanmar’s military staged a parade and other celebrations. The U.S. ambassador to Myanmar, Thomas Vajda, called the bloodshed “horrifying.”
