"Religion will one day be a thing of the past. Is that correct?"
Stupidity can't last forever. It might take one or two more centuries but eventually the god-soaked will be found only in mental facilities which is where they belong now.
Also, what Jea wrote, well done!

"It should be now. It is primitive and savage, and we know better."
"But, it has now been exposed, so it's time is coming right up. The hatred, dishonesty, superiority...all displayed by 'loving and humble' christians, is what will cause it's downfall. But humanity is also realizing that there are no gods. Can't be, not possible."
"So religion will have to focus on something else to survive, the day of the pretend deity should come to a close inside a hundred years. Sooner, going by the last hundred years, and the speeding of the process by education."
-- Jea
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne

A question, my answer, and someone else's answer. It's about the extinction of religious stupidity.
