TRADE WARS: DUMB in theory & WORSE in practice !!!
Trade wars are an extremely weak way to try and effect "fair" trade [if "fair trade" can even be defined] - trade wars create unintended consequences that are detrimental to businesses in a myriad of nuanced ways and they'll each react in their own decisive way...
Who collects the tariffs? Government does and we all pay for it - it's a direct tax on consumers -- why are protectionists for that???
Steel & Aluminum tariffs are, unfortunately, CRONY protectionism at it's worst!
