10 years ago in York, Pennsylvania President Obama was asked if he agreed with the biologists about evolution. Unlike Republican fucktards Obama accepts evolution. Unfortunately he started his answer with the words "I'm a Christian." That's bullshit. To get elected in Idiot America he had to pretend he was a Christian. Most likely Obama is a normal person, aka atheist.
Here is the interview:
Q: York County was recently in the news for a lawsuit involving the teaching of intelligent design. What's your attitude regarding the teaching of evolution in public schools?
A: "I'm a Christian, and I believe in parents being able to provide children with religious instruction without interference from the state.
But I also believe our schools are there to teach worldly knowledge and science. I believe in evolution, and I believe there's a difference between science and faith. That doesn't make faith any less important than science. It just means they're two different things.
And I think it's a mistake to try to cloud the teaching of science with theories that frankly don't hold up to scientific inquiry."
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
