Here's something for the know-nothing brain-dead evolution deniers, aka people who too lazy to look things up and too dense to be able to understand anything:

In Why Evolution is True Jerry Coyne asked five good questions about some facts of nature in the section called Palimpsests in Embryos (pages 73 thru 80).

Why do different vertebrates, which wind up looking very different from one another, all begin development looking like a fish embryo?

Why do mammals form their heads and faces from the very same embryonic structures that become the gills of fish?

Why do vertebrate embryos go through such a contorted sequence of changes in the circulatory system?

Why don't human embryos, or lizard embryos, begin development with their adult circulatory systems already in place, rather than making a lot of changes in what developed earlier?

Why does our sequence of development mimic the order of our ancestors (fish to amphibian to reptile to mammal)?

Only evolution can answer these questions. The extremely dense evolution deniers have never heard of these questions.

These questions are about facts of nature. Established facts. How to explain these facts? Did something wave its magic wand to make it look like evolution is true? Or is evolution how the world works?

This is just one of numerous branches of science that have repeatedly shown evolution is the strongest fact of science. But still the science deniers would rather live in their childish everything-is-magic fantasy world.

How can anyone throw out basic facts of science and replace those facts with magic? The answer is obvious. They have an incurable mental illness.

Religions do good things. Good for them. Here we are in the 21st century and there are still superstitious people who are willing to believe in any ridiculous fantasy that makes them feel good, for example a magical 2nd life.

A comment I wrote at the New York Times about the 2016 World Chess Championship.

I have much respect for Mr. Karjakin. At one point despite the odds he was winning the match. Now he has to go home to a very disappointed Russia where chess is equal to American baseball. But he deserves congratulations for making Mr. Carlsen earn it.

A nice thing about chess is every chess player is your friend no matter country they live in. Thanks to the internet my living room is an international chess club. I play against Russians and Iranians and once with a North Korean. We are all friends.

The Wall Street Journal deleted a comment I made a few weeks ago because I was advertising Lichess.org so I tried again today. I provided an on-topic chess puzzle. I will see if the WSJ censors vaporize it. We are suppose to have freedom of speech in this country but the WSJ wants to be like North Korea.

Carlsen won the World Chess Championship with one of the most beautiful queen sacrifices I have ever seen. It has already become a chess puzzle. Before these 5 games he played a game and he had 22 errors, which is probably normal for him when he doesn't cheat.
The game he played with me was 15+10. After 42 perfect moves he had more time than what he started with, 15:31.

November 25, 2016. An usual day and a very successful day.

I have no car so I don't often visit the Whole Foods grocery store. I took a bus there today. Before I bought groceries I visited a nearby indoor shopping mall. It was Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year, the day after Thanksgiving. Because of cheap prices people were willing to stand in line for a long time to buy their stuff. I thought these people were idiots to wait that long. I saw a lot of disgusting obese people. That's the way it is in Idiot America. We have lots of fat lower-class scum.

I entered Whole Foods where I haven't been in a long time. The food was expensive, the place is called "Whole Paycheck" but the food is fantastic. I bought for one meal lots extraordinary stuff. For example they had organically grown grapes and they were actually fresh. I also bought an already cooked chicken which should be excellent. The cooked vegetables for sale, I bought lots of it because it looked extremely delicious. Also I got freshly made corn bread which is also delicious.

I took my time there then walked back to the bus stop. The bus was coming before I got there so I ran for it calling out "hold the bus". I made it in time because the bus driver waited for me, saving me from having to wait a half hour. I was lucky.

When I got home I put the groceries in the refrigerator to eat later then I played a chess game using Lichess.org. It was a fantastic game. I was under a lot of time pressure in a very complex position but I was able to find the right moves and I won it.

Here is the Lichess.org game. I won with the Black pieces in 39 moves. The time control was 15+10 which means 15 minutes for each player plus 10 seconds added to my clock for every move I make.

Today was good day.

What I wrote at chess.com about Christian assholes and their war against science education.

The childish ridiculous "magical intelligent design creationism" fantasy is a big problem in Idiot America where I live. There is a never ending war against science education, especially evolution (aka the foundation of biology). An entire industry devotes itself to destroying science education.

Know-nothing parents who brainwash their children (aka victims) to throw out science and replace it with their moronic "everything is magic" fantasy world have a problem and that problem is competent biology teachers. One solution which works but shouldn't be allowed is called "homeschooling". The idea is never let the victims learn about the established truth of evolution.

There is no excuse for this child abuse. The government should force these victims to receive competent science education at public schools or private schools who are not in the business of lying to their students.

Brainwashing gullible children to have a belief in magic is child abuse. The child abusers belong in prison because they are destroying the lives of their victims who grow up having a cowardly fear of reality. All their curiosity is sucked out of them so they learn how to go out of their way to know nothing. Instead they learn how to defend magic by spreading lies about science and scientists. They will waste their entire pathetic lives never knowing what they are or where they came from.

"Everything is magic" cowards harassed, threatened, and yelled at an elderly female biology teacher because she taught the foundation of biology (evolution). She was the best biology teacher that school ever had but she retired one year early to avoid the never ending harassment. The students were cheated. All thanks to cowardly evolution-deniers.

Some suggestions I have for chess players:

These are just my opinions. Some people might disagree. Fine with me.

When you want to give up then resign instead of abandoning the game.

Wait until it's your turn to move before resigning.

Do not resign too soon. Make your opponent earn it. He or she could make a mistake and you could get a draw or win it. Too many people are quitters.

If an opponent would rather be checkmated instead of resigning that's perfectly OK and it's wrong to complain about it. I look at it as an opportunity to practice winning as fast as possible.

It's wrong to ask for a draw if you're behind in material or you have an inferior position. You are only annoying your opponent who is trying to think.

I suggest it's often wrong to ask for a draw because it's distracting. I prefer to try to repeat the position 3 times. If my opponent doesn't cooperate then the answer is no.

If your opponent played brilliantly to win the game it's nice to write in the chat room "Well done".

I consider my opponent who I'm trying to kill to be my friend who shares my love for chess and this fantastic website.

I'm trying to figure out how much breathtaking stupidity is required to deny the established truth of evolution in the 21st century. I can't figure it out. What I wrote at the WSJ about Jews. Every time I write something about religious stupidity at the WSJ I get harassed by religious assholes.

Virtually every Jew I met is an atheist. But apparently religious Jews exist. They use the word "G‑d" instead of "God". I never understood that. What's wrong with letter "O"? I suppose it's to show respect but I doubt Mr. God cares about these trivial things.

Another thing I don't understand. Do religious Jews actually believe they are God's chosen people? It seems like an excuse to pretend they are a superior race.

Perhaps Jews are superior. They are very successful. They include some of world's best scientists. But this idea that they are the chosen people is a bit insulting.

I think all religions are brain damage but it's an interesting subject.

Sir, I don't know these people personally but I know quite a bit about them. Collins is a Christian extremist. He has my contempt. Miller has my total respect because he has done more than anyone else to support the teaching of evolution. He does not tolerate uneducated Christians who want to dumb down the teaching of this important branch of science.

If you think the magical resurrection of the decomposing Jesus is consistent with science I suggest you read the best book about the subject, "Faith Versus Fact, Why Science And Religion Are Incompatible" by Jerry Coyne, University of Chicago biologist.

An interesting thing about every religious cult ever invented: They are total nonsense. The fantasies are the childish wishful thinking of cowards. They have not one shred of real evidence, evidence that can be tested. It's all wild guessing and it's all wrong. Religious people don't want to admit it but a belief in a god is a belief in magic.
