I have a Citibank credit card. Citibank was attacked recently. This is the email I got from them.

In light of the continued outpouring of grief and anger sweeping the country over the death of George Floyd and the ensuing unrest, I wanted to reach out to share Citi's response and to update you on the safety of our branch colleagues and clients.

Although some Citi branches were damaged recently during the unrest, thankfully none of our clients or colleagues were in harm’s way. We are actively working on repairs and assessing the situation carefully to re-open these branches. Safety is our top priority as we continue to do our best to serve our clients and communities. Where necessary, we’re putting in place heightened security protocols, including proactively closing or reducing hours in some of our branches. You can visit citibank.com/locations to stay up-to-date on branches and ATM locations near you.

I hope you know that Citi is an organization that champions equality, diversity and inclusion and is willing to stand up for those values when they are threatened. Our leaders have shared their thoughts on this very important issue which we wanted to share below:

"The tragic and unnecessary death of George Floyd in Minneapolis and the ensuing unrest are glaring reminders of the progress we need to make to have a truly equal and just society."
- Mike Corbat, Citi CEO

"We must use this painful time as the turning point to a better future that embraces our common good by listening, learning and being committed to taking action to create a more equal and just society."
- Jane Fraser, President of Citi & CEO, Global Consumer Banking

These are extraordinarily difficult times. There is no simple solution. My sincere hope is that we will all work together toward a better future.

I have one credit card. It's Citibank, 2% cash back for everything I buy. I love Citibank. They have an excellent website. They make everything easy. I thought this stuff was interesting.

Citibank is always temporarily unavailable. It's a stupidity problem. Why don't they hire people who know what they're doing.

We're sorry. Citi.com is temporarily unavailable.

Citi.com and Citibank Online are currently unavailable. If you need immediate assistance, please call 1-800-374-9700 (TDD/TYY: 1-800-788-0002). We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

An excellent credit rating is a good thing. My credit rating made it possible for me to get 2% cash back for everything I buy using my Citibank credit card.

What is a FICO® Score? — FICO Credit Education Series

Whether you’re buying a home, a car or applying for a credit card – lenders want to know the risk they’re taking by lending you money. FICO® Scores are the credit scores used by 90% of top lenders to determine your credit risk. Your FICO® Scores can affect how much money a lender will lend you and at what terms (interest rate). Higher FICO® Scores can often help you qualify for better rates from lenders – which can save you money!

Some websites I use are excellent. Other websites I use suck. It's a moron problem. There is no excuse for it.

My Charles Schwab website is more than excellent. To get on it I just hit the enter key. Less than one second later I can see everything. There is never any problem. Never once. It always works perfectly.

My Citibank website is very nice but I usually can't get on it. That never happens with Schwab. The problem is incompetence.

The worst experience I had was trying to open an account with National Geographic. The whole thing should take less than one minute. But I get this bullshit instead:

"Your order has been received and is currently being processed. Once completed, we'll send you additional details including your account number and how to access your exclusive subscriber benefits. Please note this can take up to 48 hours to process."

I have to wait two fucking days for these morons? No, it's much worse. After 4 days I'm still waiting. What a bunch of fucking assholes. And they blame "COVID-19." That's bullshit. It should have been done in less than a fucking minute. Let the computer software do the work. No humans required. These fucktards need to learn how to live in the 21st century.

UPDATE:

I wrote this for the retards who work at National Geographic:

Please cancel my order. On April 23, 2020, I placed an order for the National Geographic Magazine. That was 5 days ago. I never did get my account number. I decided I would like to cancel the whole thing. Please make sure my account is canceled and please refund the $2.99 I gave you. I regret doing business with you people. Every other website I signed up for, it took less than a minute, but the service here is ridiculous. Please get my account canceled as soon as possible so I don't have to waste any more of my time.

I love my Citibank credit card but Citibank.com has not been working in America for a long time. Maybe they were attacked?

http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/citibank.com.html#

UPDATE: The Citibank website is still not working. However I was able to call them and without having to talk to an incompetent human ape I was able to get the automatic voice accept the money I owed them which was $911.81. It was easy. What a surprise!

It's obvious to me some bad people who need to be tortured and killed fucked up citibank.com. Of course Citibank fucked up because they didn't have what it takes to prevent this bullshit.

Why is it taking more than a week to fix? Some people need to be fired.

UPDATE: Citibank emailed me a different link to get to their website and it worked. Also after I did this I was able to get in their website with the old link I was using. So everything is normal now.
