This is one of my favorite ways to win a chess game.

We both had one black bishop and several pawns. I had the stronger bishop for the endgame because all the pawns were on the black squares, so only I could attack those pawns. My opponent could only try to defend his pawns. I won this game and many other games when I had this advantage.
