2019 Gallup poll:
40% of Americans believe in magical creationism.
33% of Americans think Jeebus is one of the mechanisms of evolution.
22% of Americans accept evolution without supernatural magic.
5% of Americans said, "Duh, what is evolution?"
This means 78% of Americans are uneducated morons.

Only 22% is disgraceful but it used to be much worse. In the year 2000, only 9% of Americans accepted evolution without a fairy's magic wand.
What is going on here? Old morons are dropping dead and that's a good thing. Good riddance.

Try to imagine the stupidity required to be an evolution denier in the 21st century. These people are afraid of science websites. They have zero curiosity. They go out of their way to know nothing. And they are very hard of thinking. Most Americans are just plain fucking stupid.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
