People who don't fill their mind with erroneous philosophical nonsense are better able to correctly understand how objective physical reality actually behaves. America owes much to the countless atheist scientists, engineers and technicians who have discovered, developed and provided technical support for the many technologies our modern civilization critically depends upon.
Sadly, "believing God is real" essentially boils down to praying up a convincing hallucination and then pretending God is speaking to you within your mind.
