This is a wonderful thing and it happened very close to where I live in northwestern Illinois. "Hog Capital Wildlife Rescue and Rehab releases a Bald Eagle back into the wild more than 1 year after it had been injured and suffered a broken leg. 13 months and two surgeries later, the Eagle is now free at Johnson Sauk Trail Park just outside of Kewanee."
