"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne

A comment someone wrote at the Wall Street Journal. It's about why Trump will win the election.
I can't wait for the next Trump rally. Attended one in person in September (it was a 12 hour ordeal to get there, wait in line, do the rally, and then get home), it was high energy, tons of fun, and the crowd was delightful and full of joy. It was a total blast. The rallies are everything. They motivate and keep the base incredibly fired up. The commitment and enthusiasm for Trump is unprecedented in American politics. Ignore this phenomenon at your own peril. About 25 - 35% of rally attendees are either democrats or those who have never voted. This is epic. The Trump Train is roaring down the tracks, at full throttle.
