8 countries agreed to rules and behavior on the moon.

U.S. rules on lunar exploration receive their first international approval

NASA announced that seven nations have joined the United States in signing the Artemis Accords, a series of bilateral agreements announced in May that would establish rules to govern behavior on the surface of the moon.
The new rules allow private companies to extract lunar resources, create safety zones to prevent conflict, and require countries to share their scientific discoveries. The seven nations that signed are the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Japan, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates and Italy.
