"Why do Catholics not let their priests marry?"

A few hundred years ago the Catholic Church decided they were not going to allow priests to get married. They did this so that the Church would inherit all the money the priest has instead of the wife getting that cash.

The whole thing was about money. The Catholic Church is a business. The customers are suckers.
