I'm still waiting for a marijuana store where I live in northwestern Illinois. The mayor is OK with it. Maybe next year.

I noticed a photo in the article of a bowling alley and bar next door. Funny how prejudices work: folks drink in bars, and some of them get upset and in arguments. Some drive after drinking. Some go home and beat up a family member. And, all that's OK, because alcohol is a "different" drug.

Folks who smoke weed tend to get mellow, not angry. If they drive, they ... drive ... very ... slowly. But, in many people's minds, marijuana is "dangerous." 

Go figure.
