New York Times - Iran Cracks Down as Protests Over Downing of Airliner Grow
Despite the heavy security presence, large crowds turned out. In many places, they chanted caustic slogans. Some denounced the country’s supreme leader, AyatollahAyatollah, which is a capital offense in Iran.
“The supreme leader is a murderer; his regime is obsolete,” demonstrators chanted in Azadi Square in Tehran.
“Our enemy is right here,” others chanted in a video circulating on social media. “They lie to us that it’s America.”

What happened to those 176 passengers when the Iranian government murdered them was a terrible thing but there is an upside. The asshole "Ayatollah Ali Khamenei" is going to get killed. Eventually, after the theocracy is wiped out, America and Iran will be best friends. And that's a good thing.
