Wall Street Journal - U.S. Glut in Natural-Gas Supply Goes Global
In a blow to producers, prices in Europe and Asia plummet to historic lows.

Nicholas Bloom:
"Unfortunately for the country’s beleaguered natural-gas producers, global prices for the fuel have never been lower."
Great news - this will price out coal, which is an environmental disaster. Gas is clean, so a cheap clean fuel is fantastic, in comparison to coal which is heavily polluting and a big driver of climate change (and yes that is real, and yes the world is round, and yes the earth orbits around the sun).
Me:
"(and yes that is real, and yes the world is round, and yes the earth orbits around the sun)."
Well done. Only at the Wall Street Journal would you have to write that. There are a lot of science deniers at this place.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
