What does the Bible say about intellect? What is a smart person according to the Bible?
The Bible does not say much (if anything) about intellect. It does talk about wisdom. According to the Bible, the wisest man had 700 wives, and some wise men from the east blabbed to the old king about a new king, resulting in the massacre of hundreds of innocent infants. It also says that foolish people do not believe in a god are evil, without giving any evidence, and despite contrary evidence.

A smart person according to the Bible is someone who believes everything in the Bible (from talking serpents to seven-headed dragons knocking stars out of the sky) because it's in the Bible.

The bible says being a moron is a good thing. What a Christian fucktard wrote:
The Bible says don't get caught up in "intellect." 1 Corinthians 3:19 – The world’s wisdom is foolishness with God. Proverbs 3:7 - Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Proverbs 26:12 - Do you see a person who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
