The pointlessness of Trump's extended mega temper tantrum also deserves attention. He will leave the White House on January 20, or be physically removed by security personnel. Nothing can prevent that from happening. If he were to fire 100 officials at one time, the ultimate outcome would still be the same. A thousand conspiracy theories will not prevent it.
Withholding security briefings from the incoming chief executive serves only one purpose: spitefulness.
