As usual I was getting killed in a chess game but my opponent made one mistake and a few moves later I had a checkmate.

In other news, there was an armed robbery at a house in this nice farm town, about 1.5 miles from where I live. The 4 bad guys came from a city several miles away. After the idiots left the house the police were called. One of our officers found them getting out of our town. The morons tried to escape. They made it to another county where they crashed. They tried to hide in a cornfield but now they're in jail.

This is a big deal where I live. The residents here never do anything wrong so this kind of crime is very rare. I never lock the doors to my house even if I'm gone all day.
