"If evolution is real, why are there still people who believe God exists?"
Evolution is the strongest fact of science. What are the religious implications? We know all life evolved and we know a god fairy had nothing to do with it. Since the fairy wasn't necessary for something as complex as the history of life, it would be ridiculous to pretend a god fairy was necessary for anything else. A fairy that never had anything to do is a fairy that doesn't exist.
Not everyone got the memo and that's why are still morons in the 21st century who think their fairy is real. The stupid, it burns.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
