I was not always an atheist, aka normal person.

I wrote this 5 years ago at Testimonies of Former Christians.

When I was in high school my girlfriend asked me "Why do you go to church?" Nobody had ever asked me that before and I was totally shocked. I was speechless. I couldn't say anything. A few months later our pastor, two Sundays in a row, spent the entire sermon explaining why we should donate more of our hard-earned money to the Vatican. It was then I realized this wasn't a religion. It was a business. The customers were suckers. That was the last time I went to church.

It took me several years to completely throw out the god fantasy, which is understandable since the brainwashing at Catholic School (1st grade to 8th grade) was intense. Now I totally get it. God is just another word for magic. Magic is not real. Therefore magical beings are impossible.
