The coronavirus problem has not changed my life at all except for one thing. The government is going to give me $1,200. It's taking a while because the government is incompetent but I will get it eventually. I don't need it but it's nice to get free money.
I didn't lose my job because I don't have to work anymore. And where I live it's virtually impossible to get the disease. In the entire town only 5 people are infected, and we have 12,400 people.
Thank goodness I don't live in Chicago where I used to live. I also used to live in Florida and California. Those states are fucked up. I prefer my northwestern Illinois farm town where everyone is nice.
I'm still waiting for a marijuana store in this town. There is supposed to be one here this summer.
An interesting fact from the Wikipedia article: In the United States 58,356 people had died as a result of COVID-19, more than the Americans who had died during the Vietnam War.
