Are evolution denying sects destroying Christianity? It's like saying the world was flat still in the 1500s? Christianity loses credibility when its members deny well established truths of the universe.
Christians have a problem. If they deny the established truth of evolution then they are admitting they're uneducated morons. If they accept evolution, then they are admitting their god fairy had absolutely nothing to do with the development of the human ape species. A god fairy with nothing to do is a fairy that doesn't exist.
Some of the Christian morons stick their dead Jeebus into evolution. They claim, without evidence of course, that Jeebus is one of the mechanisms of evolution. And that's ridiculous.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
