What I wrote at the New York Times:
Everyone knows what kind of person Trump is, including the people who voted for him. His fans don't care. They notice they are making more money these days. They know anyone who wants to get a job can get one. For them, that's more important than what the Democrats are offering, which is constantly complaining about everything.
