Why can atheists come up with a purpose for themselves without believing in God and a religious person can't?

The god-soaked are not too bright. Maybe that's why they're unable to figure out what is their reason for living. Instead they let the cult they belong to make that decision for them.

This is typical:
Rich wrote "The only purpose atheists pursue is to please themselves, love themselves, fulfill all their personal desires and get the most of this life for themselves before they die."

As if any of that is a bad thing. What does he want? Should we hate ourselves? Should we not try to accomplish our goals?

There is much more Rich. I try to do my bit to make the world a better place for the next generation. And I do what I can to protect endangered species, which is something I noticed Christians don't care about. Christians think everything was magically created just for them. Christians are pathetic

Rich also wrote "Christians on the other hand believe in what Jesus said, who commanded them to love God with all their heart."

Way to go Rich. You're going to waste your entire life being in love with a mythical magical creature. That is beyond pathetic. Thank goodness I don't have your disgusting disease.
