Some very important news in Albany, New York.

Quick thinking saved a 2-week-old puppy that somehow managed to get its head stuck in a wooden gate. Albany, New York, officers received a call Tuesday morning to help rescue the little pup.

Officers Greg McGee and Chris Stiles, along with Sgt. Robert Santaski, used a Leatherman tool to free the puppy from the gate, police said in a Facebook post.

"The puppy, who does not have a name yet, was not injured in any way and was very happy to be reunited with his mother," the department wrote in a Facebook post.

The puppy was reunited with its mother after being freed.
