Their childish god-of-the-gaps fantasy is ridiculous. They want to stop scientific progress because they already know how the universe works - everything is magic.

These same science deniers repeatedly say evolution is wrong even though they know nothing about how evolution works or the countless thousands of evidences for it.
The only possible explanation for their fear of science: Christians are just plain fucking stupid.
