The REAL Christians believe everything in the Bible, no matter how ridiculous it is, and no matter how much science has to be thrown out to accommodate the childish stories. Why? It's because they think the Bible is "The Word Of God".
"Stupidity" explains their problem perfectly. This is the 21st century but these people will forever be hiding in the Dark Ages. To make sure they stay there, they go out of their way to know nothing.
