Richard Feynman and Steven Weinberg

An idiot wrote "convert religious people to atheism"

Throwing out the magical god fantasy is not converting to something.
It's called "Growing up, educating yourself, facing facts, and
accepting reality."

If everyone was a normal person the word "atheist" would not be
necessary because nobody would be infected with theism. Theism is
just a disease, a mental illness. Unfortunately for many people there
is no cure.

Why are some people able to recover from the theism disease? It's
because they still have two things the brainwashers tried to destroy.
They have curiosity and the ability to think.

What's the greatest threat to theism? Science education, especially if
the science teacher is competent. The more people understand science
the more likely they will realize a magical being's magical powers
were never necessary for anything.

The brainwashers understand this threat and this is why religious
people are constantly trying to dumb down science education. For
example the Islamic State does not allow science education in the cities
they control, and in America there is a never ending Christian war
against the teaching of evolution.

Steven Weinberg, Nobel Laureate in Physics, said about Muslims who
wanted to prevent the teaching of science in universities, "They felt
that science would be corrosive to religious beliefs and they were
worried about it. Dammit I think they were right. It is corrosive to
religious belief. And it's a good thing too."

RICHARD FEYNMAN EXPLAINS HOW TO CURE THE GOD DISEASE.
"Start out understanding religion by saying everything is possibly
wrong. Let us see. As soon as you do that you start sliding down an
edge which is hard to recover from. But once you start doubting which
I think to me is a very fundamental part of my soul, is to doubt and
to ask, and when you doubt and ask it gets a little harder to
believe."

4/8/2015 7:30AM I got this information from apple chat and if more questions I have case number.

I own a new mac mini and a new apple wireless keyboard. On the keyboard I don't think the F5 & F6 keys are used for anything. I was wondering if I could make the F5 key do something for me. For example to put the display to sleep I have to press 3 keys (shift, control, eject). Is it possible for me to just be able to press only the F5 key to do the same thing (put the display to sleep). If it is possible, how would I do this?

Your Case ID:
776720864
We may ask you for it during your chat session.
After the chat session, you can use this number to review your case.

How to change the behavior of function keys on your Mac

If your Apple keyboard has icons printed on some of the keys on its top row, these keys can be used to perform the special features shown in each icon. They can also be used as standard function keys (F1 through F12). The action performed by standard function keys varies depending on the app you're using, or depending on the keyboard shortcuts listed in the Keyboard & Mouse pane of System Preferences.
By default, pressing one of these keys performs the special feature indicated by the icon printed on the key. For example, pressing the keys with speaker icons adjusts the volume.  If you want to use one of these keys as a standard function key, hold the Fn key (usually in the lower left corner of the keyboard) while pressing the function key. Pressing Fn-F10 (speaker icon) performs the function assigned to the F10 key instead of toggling mute on or off.
If you prefer the top row of keys to always behave as standard function keys without holding the Fn key:
  1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
  2. From the View menu, choose Keyboard.
  3. Click the Keyboard tab if it is not already selected
  4. Enable "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys."
With this option enabled, the top row of keys acts as standard function keys (F1 - F12). To use a feature indicated by the icon printed on a key, hold Fn while pressing the key.

The magic-god-fairy disease is incurable.

"In life, we get by day to day on intuition. I know a computer has a maker because it's obvious, it's intuitive. The same way, I know the universe has a maker.....I see logic and order in it, and it must come from a logical and orderly source.

The difference is a magic wand was not required for human apes to design and manufacture computers. But if your god-did-it fantasy is true then a magic wand was required.

Is magic real? Any unbrainwashed child could figure it out. Magic is not real, and your magical being is not real.

Here in the 21st century where normal people live we have something called "scientific discoveries" which have repeatedly shown your magic god fairy was never necessary for anything.

"To surrender to ignorance and call it God has always been premature, and it remains premature today."
- Isaac Asimov

"The ultimate proof of a Creator is Creation. It's just not complicated. Quit trying to make it so.

Science hard. Hurts brain.
God easy. No think.

Will you be able to understand my answer? Will you be motivated to study science? Of course not. Like millions of other victims of religious brainwashing all of your curiosity has been sucked out of you. You have no desire to understand anything. Your mental illness is incurable. You will waste your entire life believing in childish nonsense, never understanding how you got here, what you are, and where you came from.

Lichess.org is sold to ChessCube (Pty) Ltd

   Cynosure (Ophi Seurat)  Teasing
ChessCube (Pty) Ltd buys lichess.org for $752,000; Thibault retires to Bahamas

Today, Thibault Duplessis confirmed and formalised the contractual agreements which give ChessCube (Pty) Ltd all rights over the site, including intellectual property, domain, legal and equitable rights for a cash sum of $752,000.
As I (Cynosure) largely deal with the legal and business issues which frequently affect lichess.org, I am in a prime position to let the community know the exciting details of our new contract, which we agreed this morning with our new owners!
  1. Facebook sign-in has become compulsory. If you don't have a Facebook, you need to get one immediately to continue playing on the site. We think that ever-increasing connectivity is a positive in the 21st century, because we know Aunt Gladys wants to analyse where your Najdorf went wrong with you! Sadly, anonymous users can no longer use lichess.org, but that's fine because they don't donate anyway!
  2. The hugely popular "cubits" are coming to lichess.org! A donation to lichess of $10.99 gives you 100 cubits, which allows you to play 100 rated games. Alternately, you can pay $29.99 for a months premium membership, which gives you 500 cubits, 50 training puzzles, and unlimited games against Stockfish!
  3. Sign up in the next 14 days, and you get 10% off - forever!
  4. Adverts will be coming to lichess.org. I've spoken to some advertisers, and soon we will be advertising MMORPGs based in Korea, with pictures of large breasted cartoon women saying sultry things like "COME NOW FOR ME MY EMPEROR" or "My Lord, I need your help!" We've also got exclusive rights to advertise the selfie-stick, and Mountain Dew: Extreme Chess energy drink. Thanks to the recent removal of the top menu, there's now plenty of room to display horizontal ads on every page.
  5. People who use AdBlock will be IP banned. VPN use will get you IP banned. Using TOR or a proxy will get you IP banned.
  6. Bans can be appealled for $4.99.
  7. Ever lost a game because of a silly blunder, or a misclick? So have I. That feeling of frustration, that anger... Now you can force a takeback in the middle of a game by paying $0.50 after your opponents move!
  8. For every Facebook friend you refer to use us, you earn 200 cubits, and get 1/3rd off your membership for SIX months!
  9. Analysis and PGN download/import remains free until May, but then it will require a premium account.
It had long been known by us moderators that the demands of the community had long been making Thibault tired, bored and disenchanted with his project. Most recently, the updates to the user interface which increased the visibility of previously obscure links were particularly controversial and created a severe backlash against the interface.
I contacted Thibault by satellite phone earlier this morning from his new palatial home in the Bahamas, where he had just come back from the casino. A possibly inebriated Thibault told me he "found it depressing" to continue, and that he "was wrong to be a Communist, selling out to capitalist doctrine feels so good". The rest of what he said was muffled as two giggling women, only known as "Bunny" and "Ruffles" promised to "make him feel so good" and "liberate the socio-economic cornices of his mind". Thibault's final comment was that he would pay for the rest of the moderation team to join him in the Bahamas, but that he really wants to holiday on the moon.
Have a good April Fools.

THE TRUTH: This post was an April fools joke. Lichess.org will never be sold. Lichess.org will always be free for everybody, without any ads. It's a promise.
THIS CHESS WEBSITE IS FREE, THERE ARE NO ADS, IT SAVES EVERY GAME PLAYED, THE COMPETITION IS EXCELLENT. THIS IS THE BEST CHESS WEBSITE ON THE INTERNET.

apple chat again

Now chatting with Dustin, case # 772916411
DustinThanks for contacting AppleCare chat support. My name is Dustin. Please give me a moment to look over your information.
DustinHi Robert. For your records, here is the case number for this chat: 772916411. In the event you need to contact us again regarding this same issue, please go to https://getsupport.apple.com/GetCaseDetails.action(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window) and enter your case number. You'll also need to enter your e-mail address - then click "Contact Apple about this case". With that being said, how are you doing today?
Me:I was trying to share my screen with last person
DustinI hate to hear that you were disconnected, that is never our intention. I am not showing any previous case notes just yet. What exactly seems to be going on?
Me:I had tio reboot in recovery mode to change password
Me:Now I need to change the password for the default keychain
Me:this has something to do with iCloud which I don't need and don't want.
    Me:I don't want any keychains.
DustinI see, thanks. We certainly want to be sure you are able to sue your Mac without prompts for passwords multiple times. The Keychain is a built in utility for helping you to save passwords and login information for the applications you use, so the local Keychain must be used. Not to worry, we just need to reset that default Keychain now, and you will be good to go.
DustinGo to Finder > Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.
DustinOnce that is open, click on “Keychain Access” in the upper left, next to the , then choose Preferences.
DustinOnce that is open, under the General tab, click on “Reset Default Keychain”.
    Me:I'm looking for general tab
DustinYou are in Keychain Access Preferences?
    Me:OK got it
Me:It says created a new empty login keychain
DustinGreat! Now, you will be asked for the passwords used for Mail, Messages, FaceTime, etc just one more time now, and you will be good to go from that point.
    Me:should i click OK?
    DustinYes
Me:The choice is show keychains or OK
    DustinOK
    Me:I clicked ok
Me:Should i click reset my default keychain?
    DustinYou have already done that.
    DustinJust close that window now.
    Me:OK i closed it
DustinGreat! You are good to go now. What else can I help with today?
    Me:Everything is OK???
    DustinCorrect.
Me:Then I'm done here. Thanks very much
DustinYou are very welcome! Thank you for chatting with me today! The chat transcript will be emailed to you once the chat session ends. Have a great rest of your day!
    Me:bye

Kill iCloud

Now chatting with Daniel, case # 772878364
DanielThanks for contacting AppleCare chat support. My name is Daniel. Please give me a moment to look over your information.
    Me:OK
DanielHello Robert welcome to chat. Are we chatting about your Mac Mini?
    Me:yes
DanielAwesome! And can you tell me a little bit more about what's happening?
Me:When I got my new computer yesterday I said yes to all the iCloud question, not knowing what iCloud is. Now I know I don't need it. I want to get rid of it because of numerous password problems. How do I kill iCloud?
DanielOh men…Okay…If I understand correctly. Youre trying to disable all the iCloud keychain password set up , is that right?
Me:I want nothing to do with iCloud.
DanielWell congratulation on your new computer. iCloud right now is not your best friend. But you did the right thing chatting withus
Me:How do I get rid of iCloud?
DanielIt’s fairly easy. Let me get you the steps. Also the iCloud is always there. If you want to delete the key chain as I am understanding, so it’s not prompting you. I can help. I just have to make sure
DanielI get you the right info
DanielGive me a moment please will that be ok?
Me:I want to delete iCloud I want to kill it,
    Me:Taks your time
DanielThanks Robert I know the iCloud can seem intrusive and complicated. I use it all the time because I know what’s the benefits but in the mean time if it’s ok that I provide you with this information ——->>>Frequently asked questions about iCloud Keychain(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)
Me:i should click the link you provided?
Danielyes please click the link that I provided. In it you will see these steps
DanielCan I remove my iCloud Keychain from Apple's servers?
DanielUse these steps if you're using OS X Mavericks v10.9 or later:
1 Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Account details.
2 Deselect “Allow approving using security code."
3 Go to each of your devices that are using iCloud Keychain and turn iCloud Keychain off.
Me:Will this completely kill my relationship with iCloud?
DanielThis will complete stop the iCloud keychain. iCloud is an apple product and it’s only killed if you don’t use it but it’s always free and available to you and your devices
Me:OK I will do those things. Now when I change security & privacy to all apps from anywhere, will it accept my Apple password?
DanielTo answer your questions Robert Sure as per the article: After you complete these steps, your keychain data will remain locally on your devices, but changes to your keychain information won't push to your other devices or the cloud unless you turn iCloud Keychain back on. If you want keychain data to push to all of your devices, but not to the cloud, turn on iCloud Keychain on each device, but skip the step to create an iCloud Security Code.
Me:OK thanks. I can sign off now.
DanielYes we want you Robert to be completely satisfied with your Mac Mini and your apple experience. If the iCloud is not a feature that you’re not a fan of. You have complete power over it
    Me:OK thanks bye
