When biologists predicted humans would have one chromosome that is a fusion of two chromosomes and when biologists predicted there would be two chromosomes in chimpanzees that match the fused chromosome in people, those predictions turned out to be perfectly correct in extreme detail. This evidence for our evolutionary relationship with the other Great Apes is many times stronger than when a man is seen holding a smoking gun a few seconds after a murder. Evolution has been repeatedly proven beyond any doubt.

So please explain, Mr. Science Denier, why you are so much smarter than all the molecular biologists in the world. Tell us what you know about biology they don't know.

Who invented the Magic Jeebus Man?

I'm not going to attempt to answer my question because it really doesn't matter who the asshole was who invented Jeebus. What's important is the Magic Jeebus Man fantasy is bullshit. SEAL commander's death in Afghanistan an apparent suicide, military says

(CNN) -- The Navy is investigating the death in Afghanistan of one of its most senior SEAL officers as an apparent suicide, a U.S. military official tells CNN.

Navy Cmdr. Job W. Price, 42, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, died Saturday while serving as the commanding officer of SEAL Team 4, a special warfare unit based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The official, who has direct knowledge of the event, spoke on the condition of anonymity because the death remains under full investigation by the U.S. military.

The official said the family has been notified of the death and that it is being investigated as an apparent suicide. There is no indication at this time that Price was involved in any military-related investigations or controversies, the official said.

Apparently, when Price did not appear at an expected time, other military personnel went to look for him and discovered his body with an apparent gunshot wound.

As the commanding officer of the team, Price oversaw more than two dozen commandos and support staff conducting counterterrorism operations in Uruzgan Province in Afghanistan, a longtime center of insurgent activity, according to a statement from the Defense Department.

The age of the earth is an important issue in Christianity today. If the six-day Genesis account is fallacious, then how can the rest of Scripture be relied upon?

Christians have to realize that if they accept an old age for the earth, this view did not come from the Bible; it comes from outside the Bible. Thus, when they insist that we accept the "billions of years" theory, they really are telling us to accept the fallible words of fallible scientists, whose theories change, who were not there, who don't know everything -- to tell God what He means. Thus they have put man in judgment of God. Man becomes the authority.

For me, as a Christian, to accept an old age (billions of years) for the earth, is to accept that fallible man's fallible methods are in authority over God's infallible Word. I can't do that.

The old earth is a belief of evolutionary ideas, which I regard as false. Even evolutionists agree that evolution is unlikely. Vast time is necessary for an evolutionary model to be convincing, and I feel it is for this reason that such emphasis is placed on establishing this extreme view of the past.

The old earth concept (5 billion years) is a product of evolutionism, which is an evil concept. The evil and failed systems of fascism, racism, Marxism, social Darwinism, imperialism, etc., etc., have all been based on evolution and an evolutionary world view to society. Promiscuity, homosexuality, abortion, humanism, new-age pantheism, etc., etc., are from the same evil root. It is, the anti-Biblical, unGodly world view.

It is written in Job 38:4: "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding." In other words, "Were you there?"

Actually, no one was there to record these past events, for recorded history begins only a few thousand years ago.

The funeral business is a waste of money.

Let's say you have a cute six year old daughter and a deranged asshole puts eleven bullets into her. Should you spend thousands of dollars on her worthless dead body or should you just throw the corpse on the wood pile in the backyard and have a free bonfire?

My point is dead human apes are equal to dead cockroaches. We throw dead insects into the garbage and we should do the same thing with dead people. Money is precious and it should only be spent for people who are not dead.

Christian tards love to waste money on dead people. Thousands of dollars are spent. Even people who can barely afford to buy groceries waste tons of money on decomposing relatives, as if the dead relative is able to appreciate the bullshit.

Regarding the letters of Dec. 5 on Costco's special dividend: Costco may grow more slowly but will weather whatever tax regime is in place. However, small private companies (that create virtually all the new jobs in the country) lack a large company's ability to shift income and lobby Washington, and they won't fare so well.

Imagine a small retailer with two stores who'd like to add a third. Most small businesses are structured as pass-through entities and pay high marginal federal and state income taxes on profits. The after-tax math is simple: To open a new store, a 40% tax rate on the income will require higher sales and profitability expectations for the store than if taxes were 30%, 20% or 0%.

Looming higher capital-gains taxes will also make it worth less as a business when the day comes to retire and sell. Might as well dividend the cash out now rather than risk it. That is, if you have the cash. If you don't, just dial back your plans to expand and hire.

It's the same analysis regardless of who is making the investment decision: entrepreneur, angel investor, venture capitalist, Fortune 500 CFO. When taxes are higher, there is less capital available to start and build smaller companies.

Our only shot at achieving fiscal balance is growth. Given that, does this focus on raising tax rates make any sense at all? These tax increases are essentially taxes on economic growth and job creation.

Raising taxes on investment is like building a pitcher-friendly park and keeping the infield grass long: You better plan on low-scoring games.
