Two suicide car bombers detonated near government buildings in the city of Baquba. Later a third suicide blast targeted the city's main hospital. The attacks killed 33 and injured 55.^[16]

• March 4: Two suicide bombers detonated in different areas of the capital killing 17 and injuring 35. It is known that polling stations were the target in both of these suicide attacks.^[17]
• March 15: A suicide car bomber detonated in Iraq's western province of Anbbar in the city of Falluja, killing 7 and injuring 13. The bombing came as counting still continues in Iraq's general election.^[18]
• March 25: A suicide bomber blew himself up in the house of Colonel Waleed Mohammed, who heads the Department of Fighting Terrorism in the town of Hit, killing three people and wounding three others. Mohammed was not there at the time of the attack.^[19]
• March 26: Two bomb explosions in the Iraqi town of Khalis, with at least one of the blasts being caused by a suicide bomber killed at least 40 people and injured more than 60 others.^[20]

Three suicide car bombers kill 41 when they hit in the centre of Iraq's capital city, Baghdad. One explosion reportedly occurred near to the Iranian embassy whereas the other two explosions were detonated in the west-central Mansour district within the city.^[21]

• April 12: A suicide car bomber targeted a police patrol in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, killing a policeman and a civilian.^[22]

July to September

• July 4: A female suicide bomber struck the reception area of the heavily fortified governorate office, killing 4 people and wounding another 23 others in the city of Ramadi within Iraq's western Anbar Province.^[40]
• July 7: A suicide bomber struck a Shia pilgrimage killing 28 and wounding 62, in the Adhamiyah district of central Baghdad.^[41]
• July 9 A suicide car bomber drove his explosive-laden vehicle into an Iraqi army checkpoint, killing 6 people and wounding another 20 others in western Baghdad.^[42]
• July 18 A suicide bomber killed at least 43 people and injured more than 40 others after the attacker targeted government-backed Sunni militia members who were lining up to be paid within the neighbourhood of Radwaniya, in south-western Baghdad. Also, another attack by one of the "lions" of al-Qaida was at an Awakening Council headquarters in the western city of Qaim, a former insurgent stronghold near the Syrian border. The official death toll was three dead and six wounded. Iraqi officials said the bomber stormed the building and opened fire. The Sunni fighters returned fire and wounded the attacker, who blew himself up as the men gathered around him.^[43]
• July 20 A suicide car bomber struck a convoy of vehicles belonging to a private British construction company killing 4 people and wounding another 5 others within the Iraqi city of Mosul.^[44]
• July 21 A suicide car bomber detonated his booby-trapped car near to a casino in Iraq's eastern province of Diyala, killing 7 people and wounding 26 others.^[45]
• July 26 Two car bombs exploded near the holy Shi'ite city of Kerbala in southern Iraq on Monday, killing 19 mainly Shi'ite pilgrims and wounding 54, an Iraqi official said. In a separate incident in the capital Baghdad, a suicide bomber killed at least four people on Monday in an attack on the Saudi-owned Al Arabiya news channel, security officials said.^[46]
• August 8: A suicide bomber killed at least 6 people and injured several others in Ramadi.^[47]

• December 12: A suicide car-bomber killed at least 13 people and injured more than 50 others, after the bomber attacked a checkpoint leading to government administrative buildings in Ramadi.^[50]

• December 27: Two suicide bombers killed at least 17 people and injured more than 47 others, after the suicide attackers set off an explosive-laden vehicle, as well as a suicide bombers vest in an attack near a government compound in Ramadi.^[52]

• December 29: Two suicide bombers attacked a police compound in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. The twin suicide attacks killed at least 4 police officers, after the two bombers breached the complex and detonated their explosives in the room of Lieutenant Colonel Shamil Ahmed Oglaq, who was among the dead and had apparently headed the battalion. The police building was known to have collapsed, as a result of these attacks and it is known that several police officers were unaccounted for, after the bombings. Security and rescue crews later scoured through the wreckage of the collapsed building looking for survivors of these suicide attacks.^[53]

2. There are millions of evidences for evolution and exactly zero evidences against evolution.

If a Christian ever reads this post, he or she might not much care for the label I gave it, "Christian retards". I ask Christians to please at least give me some credit for being honest. The purpose of this post is I want to ask Bible thumpers an important question. You believe the Bible is the word of god, as if the Master of the Universe would write a boring book full of violence, genocide, and idiotic stories for some human apes on this tiny planet in the middle of nowhere. You call the Bible "The Word".

My question is WHY?

Why are you Bible thumpers gullible enough to believe a magic god fairy had anything to do with your worthless holy book? What logic do you use to make this ridiculous assumption? Do you just blindly accept every idiotic idea you were brainwashed to believe? Do you thumpers ever think? Do you ever have an original thought? Do you ever wonder if you've been wrong about everything your entire lives?

The reason I'm asking why do you believe the Bible is The Word is because this belief has made you stupid. Your childish fantasy (god wrote the Bible) is keeping you permanently stuck in the Dark Ages. It's ruining your lives and the lives of your children who you are infecting with your disease.

You thumpers are convinced god, with its superior intelligence, incapable of being wrong, knows more about everything than any human ape who ever lived, even the most brilliant scientists of the 21st century. Therefore if a biologist discovers evidence that conflicts with the childish bullshit in Genesis, the biologist is wrong and god is right, and this can never be questioned. So you throw out powerful evidence for evolution without ever bothering to understand it. The Bible and your belief that god wrote it has made you willfully ignorant, not to mention extremely insane.

Because you were brainwashed to believe the Bible is The Word, you blindly believe everything in it, never caring about what the world's scientists say about it, never caring how ridiculous the stories are. You have become drooling morons.

One more time -- the religious implications of evolution

Here's some basic scientific facts. You Christians can deny these facts all you want but you will only prove you're uneducated morons.

People and chimps share an ancestor.

Chimpanzees are one of the modern ape species.

Humans are one of the modern ape species.

We evolved from the same ancient apes modern chimps developed from and we are still apes. We are usually called "people" or "humans" but we are still an ape species, which is a basic fact you can find in any encyclopedia.

Therefore your dead Jeebus was an ape. You Christians worship a dead ape.

Since modern human apes are the result of the exact same natural processes that developed cockroaches, and since your magic god fairy had absolutely nothing to do with evolution (including human evolution), it's ridiculous to pretend there's something special about the human ape species. For example, there's your cowardly idiotic belief in an existence after death, also known as heaven. Most certainly you don't believe in heaven for cockroaches. A heaven for human apes is an equally insane idea.

Since Jeebus was just an ape, and since heaven is just childish wishful thinking, your idiotic Christian death cult is dead. Good riddance.

Since evolution has made your god fairy totally unnecessary to explain the diversity of life, and since scientists have showed your god fairy is not necessary to explain the development of the first simple living cells (which all life evolved from) almost four billion years ago (there's still no consensus on which hypothesis is correct, but they have enough ideas and evidence to throw out the supernatural magic you lazy Christians invoke for everything), you can't invoke god to explain life at all. This means you have lost the most important hiding place for your god-of-the-gaps. Want to hide it somewhere else? Why bother when most certainly science will chase it out of that hiding place. The most important religious implication of evolutionary biology (and every other branch of science): the magic god fairy hypothesis is not necessary to explain anything. God was a crazy idea even before the scientific progress of the last two centuries. It's even more crazy today.

There is no god and there never has been any god, because it's not necessary and because it's obviously just a childish idea for superstitious cowards.

Endogenous Retroviruses make Jeebus cry.

Some Endogenous Retroviruses (ERVs) are found in the exact same locations in the chromosomes of people and other ape species. Their existence in more than one species, in perfectly identical locations, can only be explained by the fact that these ERVs were inherited from a common ancient ape ancestor.

These three videos explain this extremely powerful evidence for the evolutionary relationship between modern human apes and the other modern ape species. Scientific evidence can't be any stronger than what molecular biologists have discovered about ERVs. There are countless smoking guns that make evolution an established truth. This is one of them.
 
If you run the numbers with the assumption that ERVs can only insert in 1% of the genome, i.e. highly nonrandom, you still get enormously low probabilities with only 16 ERVs. So even if insertion is highly nonrandom, getting the thousands of matched ERVs between all primates is unbelievably unlikely just like I show in the video (don't believe me, do the math). Endogenous Retroviruses (ERVs) are the relics of ancient viral infections preserved in our DNA. The odd thing is many ERVs are located in exactly the same position on our genome and the chimpanzee genome. There are two explanations for the perfectly matched ERV locations. Either it is an unbelievable coincidence that viruses just by chance inserted in exactly the same location in our genomes, or humans and chimps share a common ancestor. It was our common ancestor that was infected, and we both inherited the ERVs. ERVs provide the closest thing to a mathematical proof for evolution. And remember, ERVs are just one of the millions of FACTS that support the theory of evolution. Think about it.

We also harbor dead genes that came from other species, namely viruses. Some, called 'endogenous retroviruses' (ERVs), can make copies of their genome and insert them into the DNA of species they infect. (HIV is a retrovirus.) The disgraceful results of this poll shows why Christians must never be allowed to teach biology.

There are extremely rare exceptions (for example Ken Miller of Brown University) but usually it would be a terrible mistake and unfair to students to let a Christian teach a biology class. They're just too god-soaked to understand simple scientific concepts like natural selection.

Only 28% of American biology teachers accept evolution (the central concept of biology) without invoking a god's magic wand to explain it. That's worse than disgraceful. It means 72% of biology teachers are not qualified to teach biology. It also means 72% of high school biology students are stuck with idiot teachers who deserve to be fired and publicly humiliated.

Also interesting and equally disgusting is the percentage of non-scientists in America who accept evolution without supernatural magic. In this poll it's only 13%. A more recent poll shows a slight improvement, 16%. This means 84% of Americans are scientifically illiterate and too cowardly to accept basic scientific facts. The problem is religious brainwashing. Biology teachers who don't know anything about biology are also a problem. The child abuse from preachers and parents is not easy to fix, but most certainly America can fix the incompetent teacher problem. Just throw all Christian science teachers out the window.

In 2005, he told the Arizona Daily Star that he thought “all points of view” should be available to students studying the origins of humanity. But the next year a Colorado paper reported him saying that such viewpoints should not be taught in science class."

Nature's editors teams note, "The most worrying thing about a McCain presidency is not so much a President McCain as a Vice-President Palin. Sarah Palin, Alaska’s governor and McCain’s running mate, opposes all research into human embryonic stem cells. She is a creationist. And until lately, at least, she has been a skeptic of human-created climate change — a disquieting thought."

One more time -- why heaven most certainly is a myth.

For many good reasons I have already written about the heaven fantasy several times before. No religious belief can possibly be more important because all religions would go extinct without it. Also, no religious belief could possibly be more dangerous. Just ask the families of the thousands of victims on 9/11/2001 who had to choose between being burned alive or exploding into a red mist after crashing into the cement.

As Richard Dawkins explained to those young children there is no Santa Claus (See previous post. It was satire.) there is also no heaven which is an equally childish idea.

There's no evidence for life after death. Nothing could be more impossible. The whole thing is so ridiculous, it would be a waste of time to talk about it if not for the millions of gullible cowards who believe in it.

And that's exactly what they are. Cowards. So afraid of reality they are willing to believe any bullshit if it makes them feel better.

If not for the idiotic promise of life after death (how convenient for the preachers who don't have to worry about angry customers demanding their money back) there would be no reason to worship a supernatural magician who never has and never will show itself because it's also just a fantasy. Without heaven every preacher, priest, cleric, and rabbi would have to get real jobs. Churches in Idiot America would be just as empty as European churches already are.

The religion industry knows how important the heaven myth is to their careers so they talk about it constantly (Jeebus saves and other bullshit). Just to make sure their moron customers get the point the preachers also talk about hell a lot, even advertising their churches with this disgusting threat of eternal torture. In a small town in rural Illinois I was once handed a pamphlet from a Baptist church. I told a neighbor "It says here we better go to this church or else we go to hell." He said "I want to go to hell. That's where all my friends are."

The heaven belief survives (millions of idiots believe in it, especially in backward hick-infested countries like Idiot America) because it's exactly what a feeble minded coward would wish for. Then of course there's the brainwashing. The heaven idea is one of the first things young children learn about, but for some strange reason, while they outgrow the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny, they still believe in heaven after they grow up. That shows just how intense the indoctrination is.

How to unbrainwash gullible cowards? I don't know. I have been working on a friend at work but even though he's not very religious he won't throw out heaven. A female friend at work I won't even bother with. She's too god-soaked to understand anything.

The points I have been trying to make:

Certainly, if you press this issue to its core, more difficult questions will arise, but as I have been told we are short on time, we'll stick with the meat and bones, so to speak, of this one. Your parents and teachers will most likely say something to the effect of "Why, he has elves that help build toys year-round in his North Pole workshop." And in response to how a man delivers all these goods in a single evening? Unsurprisingly, the response to this has not changed since I was a lad: he does it with the aid of Christmas Magic. Indeed—Christmas Magic, that wonderful, majestical force. A single drop of it allows a man to fly around the world in a sleigh led by nine tiny reindeer. Fascinating, isn't it? Now, before I continue on, let me first make it clear that I am not claiming that the existence of Santa or wonderful industrious elves or Christmas Magic is impossible. I cannot prove that they do not exist any more than I can disprove the existence of fairies or leprechauns. If you refuse these methods and persist with the nonscience of Christmas Magic—that is, if you continue to claim that Santa's "powers" arose from some indefinable source—then you are wading in some very murky waters indeed. It is a rejection of all logic. Why not the Pink Unicorn Man or the Flying Spaghetti Monster? No rational scientist would accept any information without a source, without a foundation, and neither should you.

My goal in all of this is that, as children, you should be raised only on truth, reason, fact, and intellect. Together we should be working toward a point in the not-so-distant future where the words "Santa Claus" or "Kris Kringle" or "Father Christmas" create the same response as fingernails on a chalkboard. There is nothing wrong with disbelief in Santa. I can see that the topic makes many of you uncomfortable. However, this should not be viewed as a bad thing. You may weep now, but your tears are a positive, not a negative. You are now facing the truth, which comes in many forms and is not always comfortable. This is a fact that you will be exposed to again and again throughout your lives. If you wish to live a life that contains only comfortable information and not necessarily the truth, then yours will be a highly deluded existence. Your intellectual maturity depends on whether or not you are capable of accepting the truth at this early age. That is why there is no better place to begin than with the absurdity that is Santa Claus and Christmas Magic. POSITION STATEMENT: THE TEACHING OF HUMAN EVOLUTION IN THE HIGH SCHOOL CLASSROOM

It has recently come to our attention that with the inclusion of the Gateway standards in the Tennessee high school biology curriculum, which require the coverage of evolutionary principles, many teachers are choosing to exclude human-related examples. We support and applaud the effort that administrators have made to insure the inclusion of evolution in the curriculum of high schools across the state. However, while we are sensitive to the fact that broaching this topic may be difficult for many individuals because of cultural beliefs or religious convictions, we find the exclusion of human evolution to be incompatible with the goal of integrating evolution throughout the biology curriculum. We are further disappointed because there are excellent examples from humans and closely related lineages that uniquely illustrate many evolutionary principles. Many students would find the discussion of these topics both relevant and intriguing, and their inclusion would help students appreciate relationships between ourselves and other organisms living on this planet. These points are outlined in more detail below:

1) Exclusion of human examples is incompatible with an accurate presentation of key ideas in biology in the curriculum.

Discussion of evolution in a topical framework is inadequate. Instead all topics in biology should be presented with an historical perspective. This approach makes the discussion of our historical relationships to other organisms inevitable. For example, all subjects in biology are enhanced by an evolutionary context from molecular (e.g., the universal nature of the genetic code), cellular (e.g., the origin of mitochondria), to developmental biology (e.g., similarity in early embryonic development among mammals) and the discussion of whole organisms (e.g., homological relationships in the anatomy of appendages in birds, bats, whales, etc.). Discussion of biology in an evolutionary framework would not only be more accurate, but would also render the subject matter intrinsically more interesting to students.

2) Examples from human evolution uniquely illustrate many evolutionary principles.

In humans and closely related species we have a relatively complete and well documented data base supporting evolutionary relationships. This is particularly true for a range of molecular and DNA sequence analyses that have been completed for humans and other primates from around the world. These molecular data combined with the available fossil evidence provide a substantial picture of the origin and migration patterns for human ancestors and related lineages. Presentation of salient examples from this information base (e.g., the disappearance of the Neandertals) would emphasize the "branchy" nature of our family tree and help erase inaccurate perceptions of linear progressions of fossil types that are still prevalent in the popular media.

3) Inclusion of human examples is crucial to communicate the relevance of evolutionary principles.

Much of the typical high school biology curriculum concentrates on human biology and human health issues. The delegation of evolution to a limited and focused presentation (the topical approach mentioned above) during which only non-human examples were used would provide the false impression that these principles have only limited application. Obviously teachers and textbook authors have chosen to provide a human focus for high school level because it facilitates increased interest and learning for these students. Utilization of human examples would emphasize the relevance of historical relationships among organisms and would be more likely to promote discussion and consideration of evolutionary principles in the broader context of biology.
