Where does Walker stand on evolution?
An open letter to Gov. Walker:
Gov. Walker, I am very disappointed in your choice to deny your God and not take a clear stance on evolution vs. creation. I have been told that you are a Christian man, although I must admit I have my doubts. Your actions often do not match the behaviors of a Christian man. However, your refusal to state unequivocally that you believe in creationism and not evolution is deeply troubling. You would choose to deny the God that created you in exchange for potential votes.
Do you not trust that He is in control and will place the person in power that He wants in place? Romans 13:1 states, “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”
You are in a unique position to share your beliefs with millions of people because you have been placed in that position by God. How can you possibly believe that denying the God that created you is the better choice? It’s sad to see that the lust for power has caused you to turn away from the one true God.
If you truly are a Christian man and have professed your faith in Jesus Christ, I would hope that you would share that love with all that can hear your voice. Although I don’t agree with your politics, your eternal life is much more important. I pray that God will allow you to hear my one small voice and correct your error.
