"What is the relationship between GOD and humans?"
Some people who refuse to grow up have an invisible friend. They call this thing "God".
These strange people have a one way conversation with their invisible friend. They are certain their invisible friend loves them so much it will use it's magical powers to magically send them to a magical paradise where they can have a magical 2nd life after they drop dead.
The stupid, it burns.
