Occasionally I look at old posts I wrote and sometimes I discover something actually worth reading. For example I documented a discussion I had with a dishonest Christian asshole at Christian assholes, if you can’t grow up, educate yourselves, and face facts, and it’s obvious you can’t do that, at least try to stop lying about your own fantasies. I recommend it.

In the right column of this blog visitors can find "THIS IS A LIST OF SOME OF MY FAVORITE POSTS:" followed by links to dozens of posts I think might be worth reading.

Visitors to this blog may have noticed I no longer allow comments. I regret doing that but it was not fun coming home from work and finding my blog polluted with bullshit from a deranged Christian asshole. Since I don't like comment moderation I decided to throw commenting out. If you like to write comments (as I do) I suggest the many excellent blogs at http://freethoughtblogs.com/.

"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
