A comment I wrote at the Washington Post:
"Republicans pushed to open up remote and largely-pristine areas in Alaska to drilling, mining and logging while Trump was in office, from its southeast edge to the western Arctic and the Bering Sea."
I don't know why the Republicans want to destroy the environment. Maybe it's because they're stupid, and a few other adjectives I can't use here.
