But a detailed review by The Post found that in the crucial 10 days after Trump's national security adviser warned him covid-19 was the country's top threat, Trump didn't simply play down the crisis — he played golf at his Mar-a-Lago club, threw a Super Bowl bash, worked on his State of the Union speech, obsessed over punishing his political enemies, and “largely attempted to pretend the virus did not exist."
