Our Creator, Jehovah God, knows we need to feel challenged and be stimulated in order to be happy. (Psalm 139:14-16; Ecclesiastes 3:12) That's the reason he has created an endless supply of activities for our good and our pleasure. We also need a purpose. Imagine being surrounded by unselfish people who truly cherish you, want the best for you and who will participate in satisfying work to benefit themselves and you! (Isaiah 65:22-24) To this end, God has put the desire to live forever in our hearts BUT we will “never find out the work that the true God has made from the start to the finish.” (Ecclesiastes 3:10, 11) That means there will always be something fascinating to discover about Jehovah God and his works.

Just think about it, every day God gives us a unique sunset to watch. The tree in your backyard is never the same on any given day. You and I are changing as we speak. There will always be something new and interesting to keep us from feeling bored.
