Normal people, when they want to resign, they wait until it's their turn to move. Resigning out of turn is wrong, not to mention stupid.

He resigned out of turn and he resigned too soon because I was in the process of moving my queen rook to the 7th rank. I missed the obvious Rook takes Queen. I was actually making the wrong move at the exact same time the idiot resigned out of turn.

The time control: Each player had 10 minutes to finish the game. If chess players can't checkmate or force a draw and their clock runs out, they lose the game.
