I answered a dumb question about the Magic Man fantasy.

"Are most atheists atheists not because they don't believe in a God, but because they hate religion and everything about it?"

I'm an atheist because the idea there is a magical creature hiding somewhere in the universe is as ridiculous and childish as the Easter Bunny fantasy. Also, there is no magic in the universe therefore magic god fairies are impossible.

Also, I know too much about science to pretend a magic god fairy's magical powers were ever necessary for anything. The god of the gaps has run out of hiding places.

Why do billions of people believe in this childish nonsense in the 21st century? The only possible explanation is most people are just plain fucking stupid.

There was a preacher man who lived 2,000 years ago. His name was "The Magic Jeebus Man". He was executed for being an asshole. Then after decomposing for 3 days he magically became a zombie. He died for your sins so a loving god would not have torture you after you drop dead.
