I’ve met several well-meaning Christians who have offered to pray for me. And they didn’t realize that they were actually insulting me.

Proselytizing is an insult to the proselytizee.
Proselytizing is self-centered, egotistical bullshit.
Proselytizing says, “I’m better than you”.
Proselytizing says, “I know God...I’m going to Heaven, and you’re not.”
And (because of that) “I’m allowed to judge you.”
And they attempt to project their personal irrational and delusional fears into others.

One time while waiting in line at a store I noticed the lady behind me was in a hurry so I told her to go in front of me so she could get out of there.

Then for some reason she started talking about some god bullshit. I told her I'm an atheist. Then the airhead said "What happened to you?" I told her I grew up. Then the airhead said Darwin threw out evolution when he was dying. I told the idiot that's a myth, it's not true.
