I wrote this comment at the New York Times and it was not published. What we've got here is failure to communicate.

"Op-Ed by an anonymous senior official"

We know who he is. His name is Mike Pence, the Vice President of the United States.

Nobody else in the Trump administration has ever used the word "lodestar" but Pence has used the word repeatedly and he used it in the anti-Trump article.

Pence wrote the Op-Ed because he wants Trump's job.
