Trump wants a trade war against China which I think is a stupid idea. However this comment somebody wrote at the Wall Street Journal is interesting and maybe he's right.

Been to China and did business there for many years. You guys don’t get it, they are ruthless (which I actually respect). They know they have taken advantage of the West for many years, they laugh at our stupidity. They will raise heck and then cut a deal.

Call Trump an idiot, anything you want that makes you feel better. He is a business man and understands what will make China change far more than any traditional politician. They need us more than we need them. Their political stability is based on a growing economy.
