"On the third day after being crucified and laid lifeless in a stone tomb, people began to see, and hear the resurrected Jesus Christ speak and interact with them. He showed them His pierced side, hands and feet, He ate food and drank with them, He appeared in their midst even though the door of their room was locked, He ascended visibly, bodily, up into the sky till clouds hid Him from the large group's eyes. Then angels came to say that in the same manner He had gone away, so He would return - descending from below cloud level so that every eye would see Him. The account written about all of that, written before AD70, adds that over 500 men were eye-witnesses to Jesus Christ being alive and well during 40 days after His resurrection. This same Jesus is alive today, as He was back then."
