Here is more evidence for the idea that Christianity, besides being totally insane, is a death cult. The stupid, it burns.

There is no fantasy too ridiculous for the god-soaked morons who believe everything they were brainwashed to believe. I have an idea that goes like this: Christians are Christians because they're just plain fucking stupid.

This evidence-free bullshit was written by an Episcopalian priest:

"The crucifixion was a real horror scene, 'particularly gruesome,' according to Catholic priest and biblical scholar Raymond Brown. The gruesomeness was in part auditory, the victims screaming wildly and cursing in their despair. Such was the scene around Jesus. And at the end, Jesus himself screamed that God had abandoned him."

I found this at the Christian infested Wall Street Journal. The comments included the usual morons including at least one stupid fucking asshole, a typical Christian.
