I invest in the stock market only for the dividend income. If the shares get cheaper that's a good thing.

September 7, 2017: AT&T is now at $35.99 which is wonderful. I hope it goes down some more. I buy AT&T every month and I will never will sell any of it. I love stock market crashes.
