KABUL—Just days before Afghanistan’s Shiite Muslims mark the most important event on their sect’s religious calendar, a man wearing an explosives vest blew himself up near a crowded Shiite mosque in central Kabul on Friday, killing at least six people and wounding 14 others, Afghan authorities said.
