In America we recently had an African American president who got the job thanks to the millions of white people who voted for him. But still for some reason we occasionally have some violence because of racism. Martin Luther King could fix the problem if he was still alive today.

This was Martin Luther King's idea: "Skin color is as irrelevant as eye and hair color." I think that's a good idea and it has the advantage of being true.

Biologists who know more about evolution than anyone else would agree with Martin Luther King. We don't care what color a cow is. The same thing should be true about human skin color. It's doesn't matter.

Violence in Charlottesville exposes nation's divisions

Rally supporters and counter-protesters threw punches, hurled water bottles and unleashed chemical sprays. Men dressed in militia uniforms were carrying shields and long guns.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe declared a state of emergency. Police in riot gear ordered people out. Helicopters circled overhead.
