"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne

Sometimes I use this blog to save stuff everyone else couldn't possibly be interested in.
This chess game was against a not very good opponent who got checkmated in 9 moves. I'm saving it because it was a bit humorous. 1. b4 Nf6 2. Bb2 g6 3. h3 Bg7 4. e3 o-o 5. b5 d6 6. c4 e5 7. a4 Nbd7 8. Na3 Nc5 9. Ne2 Nd3#
